A room for watching.
Rolling field notes on what is just becoming visible. Open to the public; updated weekly. Read by those who want to know what we are noticing before it is named.

A residency in the working chamber.
A small residency for writers, artists, and researchers shaping the next form. Eight fellows a year, six weeks each, in the rooms above the reading room. Applications open in autumn.

A commission for the long form.
One commission a year for a sustained piece of writing or work — book-length, exhibition-scale, or in a form we haven't yet named. Nominations only.
